Job Description

Our company specializes in the maintenance, repair, servicing, and modernization of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment.
Working at MDL means:

Your typical day will include:
- Assisting technicians in completing service mandates and on-site work for clients
- Intervening in power electricity to resolve technical issues in emergency calls
- Conducting electrical and mechanical tests, repairs, and maintenance on high voltage equipment (switches, circuit breakers, transformers, control cabinets)
- Occasionally performing workshop tasks (control wiring, electrical tests on power equipment, transformer repairs)
- Managing various technical mandates for clients
- Drafting technical reports
You have the following profile:
✔ Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in electrotechnology
✔ Hold a Class 5 driver's license
If you have the following knowledge, we consider it an asset:
✔ Completion of the construction site health and safety course (ASP)
✔ Experience in low and medium voltage distribution equipment.

Your typical day will include:
- Effectuer des études de coordination, d’harmonique, de court-circuit et d’éclats d’arcs électriques
- Effectuer des mesures de profil de charge et des études de perturbations électriques (phénomènes transitoires)
- Participer aux essais d’échauffement, diélectriques et de décharges partielles sur l’appareillage électrique moyenne tension
- Dimensionner les différents équipements d’un réseau électrique (transformateur, appareillage de commutation, relais de protection, etc.)
- Sélectionner les relais de protection et les appareillages de distribution électrique moyenne tension
- Être responsable de la conception, l’élaboration et la planification de projets de modification d’appareillage
- Conception de plans d’ingénierie
- Participer à l’élaboration des offres de services et estimations de coûts pour les différentes demandes des clients
- Rédiger des rapports techniques
- Analyser des circuits électriques
You have the following profile:
✔ Détenir un Baccalauréat en génie électrique
✔ Être membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec ou être inscrit au registre des candidats de la profession d’ingénieurs de l’OIQ

✔ Le Code de l’électricité au Québec
